The painter Miriam Maes from Leffinge exhibits in cultural center 'De Branding' with the series 'Sedimentary Enigma', an artistic indictment against nuclear waste.
'Sedimentary Enigma' was realized in the context of the art project 'Nucle-Art 2013' under the tutelage of mayors for Peace, an international network of mayors that thirty years ago, was founded by the mayors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
'Sedimentary Enigma' can be seen between 12 and May 31, 2013 for free in the centre 'De Branding'. One painting out of the series 'Sedimentary Enigma' of Miriam Maes was also selected for a collective exhibition that will be seen in Ypres, Neerpelt and Bastogne. In late July this exhibition settles in Middelkerke.
